      研究金线鲃(Sinocyclocheilus)的游动特征——趋触性(贴近边界前行),为人工养殖、繁育和物种保护提供理论支持。试验用金线鲃均为成鱼,8种51尾,其中盲眼种2种、小眼种和正常眼种各3种。试验在安静、黑暗的环境进行,刺激条件分别为无干扰、静止障碍物和振动吸引,使用软件追踪分析试验鱼位置(距离和方向)、时间以及相对于试验缸壁的游动速度,运用线性模型分析金线鲃趋触行为差异的关键因素。结果表明:趋触前行时间占比盲眼种为73.06%、小眼种为72.65%、正常眼种为54.62%;趋触距离盲眼种(197±18)SBL、小眼种(158±14)SBL、正常眼种(139±15)SBL;趋触游动速度盲眼种(0.53±0.19)cm/(s·SBL)、正常眼种(0.37±0.18)cm/(s·SBL)、小眼种(0.46±0.22)cm/(s·SBL)。金线鲃趋触前行的行为与游泳特性如游泳速度和时间高度相关,趋触行为可能作为一种自我保护作用和觅食策略,甚至作为一种防御策略。实践中可以依据金线鲃眼部形态和行为上的趋触性偏好分类培育饲养,同时增加缓沉型鱼食以及增添静止设施。

      Sinocyclocheilus, belonging to Barbinae, Cyprinidae and Cypriniformes, is a peculiar genus of freshwater cavefish endemic to the karst region of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. Different species of Sinocyclocheilus dwell in surface streams, semi-subterranean streams and subterranean streams, and the eyes of different species show adaptation to their habitat. Thus, cavefish have significant research and conservation value. In this study, we explored the thigmotaxis of Sinocyclocheilus using different stimulation tests and analyzed the effect of thigmotaxis on swimming characteristics. Our aim was to reveal the behavioral adaptations of cavefish under the extreme environment of caves and provide basic information and theoretical support for farming, breeding, and protecting cavefish. A total of 51 adult individuals from 8 species were sampled for the test, identified as 2 blind species with no external eyes, 3 reduced-size eye species and 3 normal-size eye species. All tests were performed under quiet, dark condition, and the swimming characteristics of test fish were tracked under three test conditions: no stimulation, stable obstacle and vibrational stimulation along the swimming path. Tracking software was used to analyze the location (distance and orientation), swimming time and relative speed of the test fish, and a linear model was used to analyze swimming characteristics related to thigmotaxis. Results show that all test fish displayed thigmotaxis, but with significant differences among the three species. Blind species displayed the thigmotaxic behavior of swimming near the wall 73.06% of the test time and the reduced-size eye species for 72.65% of the time, while the species with normal sized eyes spent only 54.62% of the time near a wall. In terms of swimming locomotion during the test, reported as standard body lengths (SBL), the blind species swam (197±18) SBL, the reduced-size eye species swam (158±14) SBL and the normal-size eye species swam only (139±15) SBL. The swimming speed of the blind species was (0.53±0.19) cm/(s·SBL), the reduced-size eye species swam at (0.46±0.22) cm/(s·SBL) and the normal-size eye species at (0.37±0.18) cm/(s·SBL). Thigmotaxis in Sinocyclocheilus was highly correlated with swimming behavior, including swimming time and speed. Results also suggest that thigmotaxis in Sinocyclocheilus is contributes to survival, as it is related to foraging and defense. In practice, Sinocyclocheilus should be classified and reared with consideration given to eye morphology and thigmotaxis preference. It is also recommended to use a slowly sinking fish food and add static objects for species with reduced or no vision.
